The Richard Lis Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of our late State Lodge President, Richard Lis, who made significant contributions to our community and law enforcement. This scholarship is a tribute to his legacy and commitment to supporting the education of future leaders.

Twenty Scholarships Available

This year, Chicago Lodge #7 will award twenty scholarships, each worth $1,000.00, to deserving students.

Additional Chances to Win

The scholarship drawing will take place at the General Meeting on November 15, 2023. In addition to the twenty main scholarship winners, the FOP will also draw five additional names. These extra selections are to ensure that if some of the primary winners are not in college or decide not to continue their education, other students still have a chance to benefit from this opportunity.
