Chicago Police Department Information For The Position Of Police Officer 2019

The Chicago Police Department has open the application process for the position of Police Officer. Applications are being accepted through 15 April 2019. There is no cost to apply. The application can be completed online. There are two major changes to this examination:
- Applicants must be 21 years of age by May 31, 2019 to sit for the police officer examination.
- Applicants will need a minimum of 60 college credits at time of application and submit them by downloading the college transcript(s) at time of completing the application online or 3 years active duty military service (download the DD-214 at time of application) or 1 year of active duty military service and 30 college credits proof (download the DD-214 and transcript at time of application).
