Covid -19 Updates

Today, President Graham held a press conference with all the major TV outlets. Graham had contacted Superintendent Beck and made specific demands to protect all Chicago Police Officers from the COVID-19 virus.
- All Officers be issued Personal Protection Equipment to protect themselves including gloves, face masks, spit shields, etc.
- All Officers be issued disinfectant sprays or wipes to allow them to disinfect Police vehicles prior to entering them.
- End the practice of swiping in and out in order to deter the spread of any virus.
- End Roll Calls to prevent Officers from being in confined spaces.
- Have maintenance personnel perform more thorough cleaning of Police facilities.
Aside from the press conference, a decision has been made to cancel the Monthly General Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th at Noon.
This decision was made for the well being of our members. Please advise your co-workers of this cancellation.
